Welcome to St. Albans Diocese Ministry Development and Local Ministry website. This site aims to offer valuable information and resources to all members of the church wishing to develop God's ministry and mission.
Under Ministry Development you can find details on both CME 1-4 and CME 5+; further study and applying for grants, as well as information on current and forthcoming trainings that can form part of the course.
There is also information on our Local Ministry Scheme, together with material for adult education under Education for Discipleship and collaborative ministry.

This year's conference entitled The Resurrection: A Message of Hope for Today will be held at the University of Hertfordshire on 17th June. Speakers are Prof. Mary Grey, Prof John Drane, Dr Peter Head and Bishop Christopher Herbert. Click here to see the programme. Invitations are in the process of being sent out to all clergy and Readers and to PTO clergy and Readers who are still active in the diocese. We are sending them by email to all those who's email address we have, otherwise by post. If you have not received an invitation by 16th April, please contact Laura. New Reader Ministry Officer
We are pleased to welcome Lauryn Awbrey to the Ministry Development Team. Lauryn is the new Reader Ministry Officer and she will look after the diocesan Reader Training Scheme and also work alongside Dennis, Robin and Ysmena in delivering and supporting the development of ministry in the diocese.
