Welcome to St. Albans Diocese Ministry Development and Local Ministry website. This site aims to offer valuable information and resources to all members of the church wishing to develop God's ministry and mission.
Under Ministry Development you can find details on both CME 1-4 and CME 5+; further study and applying for grants, as well as information on current and forthcoming trainings that can form part of the course.
There is also information on our Local Ministry Scheme, together with material for adult education under Education for Discipleship and collaborative ministry.

Looking for a Training Course?
We have put lots on new training courses on our website. Look under Forthcoming Trainings. We would particularly recommend the Mindfields Organisation: Mindfields website, which offer courses primarily in counselling skills and Directory of Social Change: DSC website, which offers courses in personal development and management skills, especially for those working in the voluntary sector. Both charge reasonable prices and of course clergy can use their Personal Training Allowance and Readers are entitled to a grant of up to one third of the cost of a training.
